The role of the mentor is key to successful teacher induction and as such, mentors receive high quality support, training and resources.  Many colleagues who offer to mentor ECTs are new to mentoring and this programme offers guidance, support and a networking opportunity on how to nurture and guide new teachers in the first two years of the profession.
