NPQ Leading Teaching
Aimed at colleagues with at least 3 years teaching experience, the NPQLT gives participants all the essential knowledge, skills and concepts that underpin successful leadership of teaching.
The course is usually completed within 12 months with a summative assessment at its conclusion. This is a blended delivery model comprising 3 face to face events, online study, webinars and coaching. Eligibility is subject to evidencing support from your Headteacher to release you to undertake the course and related work.

- contributes to a culture of high expectations across the school
- supports colleagues to plan effective lessons and to avoid common assessment pitfalls
- encourages colleagues to use high quality, reliable assessment without creating unnecessary workload
- provides access and enables colleagues to draw upon best available evidence and research.
