One of the big developments this year is to standardise the nights on which expert groups and professional networks will meet.  To do this, the IoE has purchased Zoom Events.  Dates for your diary are as follows:

Times of each session is 3.30 to 4.30pm.  The first guinea pigs were the 8 expert group teams who met this September.  All 8 sessions were run at the same time using the same meeting link!?  What is this magic?  You might well ask.  The sessions are run as a conference.  You join the conference and enter into the lobby.  At this point you can select the session you wish to join, or you can watch the live stream and determine which group is best suited for your particular interest.  You also have the flexibility to join one group, leave, then join another one.  It's just like being at a face to face conference from the comfort of your mobile device.  We're really happy with the first event and are looking forward to many more.
