Restorative Practice to Minimise Emergent Behaviours
Overview
This can be delivered as a twilight or a day course and will take 2 to 4 hours depending on attendees’ prior knowledge. The course aims:
- To improve the understanding of cause and effect of “trauma” and “anxiety” in children.
- To explore the background/triggers to emergent behaviours including adverse childhood experiences e.g. Covid
- To understand the impact of emergent behaviours on ourselves and children we work with
- To improve support strategies/interventions to work with children who have emergent behaviours and prevent the behaviours
