Restorative Practice to Minimise Emergent Behaviours

Overview

This can be delivered as a twilight or a day course and will take 2 to 4 hours depending on attendees’ prior knowledge.  The course aims:
 

  • To improve the understanding of cause and effect of “trauma” and “anxiety” in children.
  • To explore the background/triggers to emergent behaviours including adverse childhood experiences e.g. Covid
  • To understand the impact of emergent behaviours on ourselves and children we work with
  • To improve support strategies/interventions to work with children who have emergent behaviours and prevent the behaviours
